If you are into surfing or want to try it, Imsouane is a place to go. However, it gets very packed during the surf season (Nov-Feb). I stayed 4 nights at Afer Surf Hostel, which was nice and comfortable. I really appreciate they have curtains at beds, I have not seen many to have these in Imsouane. They have nice terrace as well where you can chill or work. A small disadvantage is, that it is a bit far from the beach (approx 12 min). Restaurants I recommend: Cafe Restaurant Chez Karim, Blue Horizon, Ocean bite (this area seemed to have local restaurants and better prices). I enjoyed working from Anzar, they have beautiful view over the ocean, it is more touristy and pricey, though. The biggest supermarket I have found was Imsouane Supermarket. Nevertheless, do not expect a huge variety of food. Most of the places do not accept cards, so be sure you carry cash with you. There is an ATM in the village, so you do not have to withdraw in advance.
